About Our Program

Musikgarten -- Our Musical Foundation

The Musikgarten curriculum is grounded in early childhood music and educational concepts and draws inspiration from the natural world. This delightful, child-centered, movement-based program introduces music to the young child, much the way a child's native language is learned. Complex musical concepts are presented to the child in simple, developmentally appropriate form. From birth to nine years, as the child grows, these concepts are gradually refined within a joyful environment of singing and dancing. They follow the course of natural development as the child moves into musical literacy and greater readiness for concentration on one instrument.

MISS AMANDA'S MUSIC GARDEN RECEIVES EXEMPLARY PROGRAM AWARD! We are pleased to announce that Miss Amanda's Music Garden received the 2007-2008 Exemplary Program Award at the annual National Musikgarten Festival!
